Install from Extension Warehouse.

Basic Usage

Select one or more objects in your SketchUp model.
Right-click to open the context menu.
Choose ZB Smart Tag from the menu.
Select your action:
- Quick Assign — applies your last used tag instantly
- Choose tag — pick from existing tags (checkmarks show current assignments)
- Create new tag — create and assign in one step
- Batch manage — replace, select by, or remove tags
- Search & analyse — find objects and view statistics

Batch Operations

Replace tag: Replaces every use of one tag with another across the entire model. Useful when reorganising your tag structure.

Select by tag: Selects all objects currently assigned to a specific tag, making it easy to inspect or bulk-edit them.

Remove tag: Removes a tag assignment from selected objects or from the entire model.

All batch operations support undo with Ctrl+Z.

Tag Statistics

Access tag statistics from the context menu under ZB Smart Tag > Search & Analyse. The statistics panel shows:

Every tag in the model with object counts
Percentage of total tagged objects per tag
Untagged object count

Use this to audit your model and find incorrectly tagged or untagged geometry.
